DVD Rental/Sales Catalogue

This is our film catalogue. We update it every few months or so, but as we are constantly adding new titles to our shelves, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, please ask.

This is predominantly a rental list, but we have brand new copies of everything in store to BUY.

ANY FILM that we don’t physically have in store we can get for you to BUY as long as it’s available in the UK. This usually only takes 24 hours.

    • Hi Michael,
Unfortunately, Necropolis is not available on DVD in the UK so we have it neither for rental or sale.

Any chance you guys could do a chart where each of you has your
    1) Favourite of that week (or month) and 2) ‘My top ten of all time’.
We listen and value each of your comments in the shop. We may agree or disagree but we can then follow whoever suits us.
    3) Simon’s Faves 4) His kid’s Fave (but with his invaluable sharp comments)
    4) This week (or month) Trending in Rotting Hill.
Your blog is fantastic by the way but I still feel myself mistrusting because they are ‘latest release’ which some weeks can all be shiv.

    • Hi.
When I set this blog up (I don’t mind saying: off my own back, in my own time) about 4 years ago, the ideas I had for it included your suggestions. I even imagined (and would still very much like to see it) posting contributions from members and other film buffs from beyond the shores of, as you so aptly put it, Rotting Hill. However, after years of trying to get fellow staff (including Simon) to make reglar contributions to it, I’ve all but given up out of sheer frustration. I guess everyone’s busy doing other things.

Apologies if it seems like I’m annoyed with the whole situation – but I do have a tendency to tell it like I see it. If you’ve met me at all, you’ll probably have got that.

HOWEVER. Perhaps now that the business is closing – who knows – maybe there’ll be space/time for a renewal of energy. I certainly hope so as it’s pretty sad to see something you’ve invested a lot of energy and time in – not to mention had hopes for – go to waste.

I’m genuinely glad that you’ve enjoyed the blog, and I’m only too aware that it’s not what it could be. I’ll try and drum up some last minute enthusiasm/support!

      Cheers,
      Dixie
