ACT OF KILLING:
One of the most critically acclaimed films of the year this documentary challenged former Indonesian death squad leaders to reenact their real-life mass-killings in whichever cinematic genres they wish, including classic Hollywood crime scenarios and lavish musical numbers. With the backing of Errol Morris and Werner Herzog this looks like something special.

The final part in Edgar Wright’s ‘Cornetto Trilogy’. Five friends re-unite to take on the pub crawl challenge that defeated their younger selves. Not as funny as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz but this comedy does have a brilliant cast and impressive fight scenes that’ll make a trip down Wetherspoon’s a strange temptation.
ARTIST AND THE MODEL:
Yet another French film featuring cafes, rural idylls, old men, and young ladies. Looks like the sort of film you’d fall asleep to but with the director behind Chico and Rita and the face of Jean Rochefort there may be more on offer.

The film that sank United Artists, this much maligned Western has now been restored to emerge as a forgotten classic. Starring Kris Kristofferson, Isabelle Huppert, Christopher Walken, and John Hurt.
New doc about the self-proclaimed “zen anarchist” screenwriter and director. This is the guy who wrote Apocalypse Now and Dirty Harry before directing his own stuff including Big Wednesday and Conan the Barbarian. A gun-toting outsider Milius has spent his career in stark opposition to the Hollywood liberal elite. So the story is a good-un and this movie does a decent TV-standard job of telling it with talking heads that include Scorsese, Spielberg, Coppola and Charlie Sheen (but that ongoing trend for creating moving photos may make you want to reach for your .44 Magnum).
BREAKING BAD FINAL SEASON:
